Ting Xi Bamboo Restaurant

The building is located in Xiamen – a sub-provincial city in southeastern Fujian, China.

The building is a restaurant that has capacity of 200 guests and be placed on an artificial pond. The structure has 2 rows of bamboo columns with 10m span and 10m height. Not only supporting the roof structure, these quadrilateral columns are also contributing to the interior space aesthetics with its impressive bamboo frames. The support area is separated and behind the bamboo building volume with the walls cladded by a local brick material.

The project is currently under construction and will be completed in the middle of 2017.
