Kontum Indochine Wedding Restaurant
Kontum Wedding Restaurant is a facility for wedding ceremonies, conferences and social activities located in a lot in the city center of Kontum, along the Dakbla River, next to Kontum Indochine Café.
The building, which contains three banquet halls and office spaces on three stories, are covered by louvers made of pink granite stone that was quarried locally in Kontum. The louvers blur the outline and details of the building, creating abstract volume well balanced with surrounding landscape. Two different finishing’s were applied to each louver; its front surface was polished, creating a sparkling exterior when exposed to sunlight, while two sides and back surface were flamed to soften the light coming into the building. Visitors can enjoy the view of the river through the louvers in light pink.
The three banquet halls feature three different natural materials; stone, bamboo, and wood. The structure of the Bamboo Hall is composed of self-standing bamboo frames.
