Bac Ninh province is a traditional agricultural area that is currently developing to an industrial zone in Northern Vietnam.
This development has led the city to plan a new urban area next to the old city. The government is aiming to transform this city to an energy efficient and green city.
The new city hall project proposal is perceived as the new symbol of the city, which unites both greenery and culture together. Located at the center of the new urban area, the city hall sits adjacent to a park with flat terrain. The city hall is designed as a vertical park to provide greener landscape for the city.
